Acceptable Use Policy

Sanova is a general-purpose AI workspace and developer workspace that may provide access to third-party AI models. This policy explains how users may and may not use Sanova's AI-powered conversations, writing features, and other generative tools.

Last updated: October 24, 2026

1. Scope and provider policies

This policy applies to prompts, conversations, writing, code, files, and other content submitted to or produced through Sanova's generative features. Sanova may rely on third-party AI model providers, whose applicable usage policies and safety controls also apply. These provider rules supplement this policy; they do not permit a use that this policy prohibits.

2. Sexual, explicit, and NSFW content is prohibited

You must not use Sanova to request, generate, transform, or distribute sexually explicit, pornographic, erotic, sexually suggestive, or other NSFW content. This prohibition applies to all AI conversations, writing tools, and generative features, including requests to:

  • Write erotica, pornography, or graphic descriptions of sexual acts.
  • Conduct sexually explicit role-play or generate sexualized nudity.
  • Transform other content into sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW material.

Sexual content involving minors, sexual exploitation, and non-consensual sexual imagery or content are strictly prohibited.

3. Harmful and unlawful uses

You must not use Sanova to create or facilitate unlawful abuse, exploitation, credible threats of violence, targeted harassment, fraud, impersonation, malware, unauthorized access, or other harmful activity. You must not submit content you are not authorized to share or use generated content to violate another person's privacy, rights, or safety.

4. Do not bypass safeguards

You must not attempt to evade this policy or bypass usage restrictions or safety controls applied by Sanova or its third-party AI providers. A refusal or restriction from a provider must not be circumvented by rephrasing, routing, or otherwise disguising a prohibited request.

Provider safeguards may refuse or limit certain requests and outputs. Sanova does not represent that every third-party model behaves identically or that provider controls replace your responsibility to follow this policy.

5. Enforcement

Violations may result in refusal of a request, restriction of feature access, suspension, or termination of an account, subject to Sanova's Terms of Service and applicable law. Sanova may review reports or relevant information when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected abuse, protect users, or comply with legal obligations.

6. Questions and reports

This policy should be read together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
